Xorg.0.log проблема с разрешением экрана [понято]

Разрешение экрана соскочило по непонятной причине:

Пробовал:
- в асс менять разрешение экрана (перезагружался) - не работает
- в асс установил параметры ширины и высоты экрана в мм - не работает
В растерянности 
Подскажите где приколотить разрешение 1400*900 "гвоздём" и возможные причины отчего возникли неприятности?

Этот матерый в самом расцвете лет поставил правильный диагноз, в моём случае помогла Замена КАБЕЛЯ монитора. Рад что монитор менять не пришлось.
