[root@k-04-01 Desktop]# uname -a
Linux k-04-01.localdomain 3.0.69-std-def-alt0.M60P.1 #1 SMP Thu Mar 14 23:57:55 UTC 2013 i686 GNU/Linux

The program 'java' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
  (Details: serial 223 error_code 8 request_code 73 minor_code 0)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

# service rfcomm start
service: rfcomm: Unrecognized service

ps ax | grep rfcomm

Although our products are not officially supported for this version of Ubuntu, please make sure that you have disabled Visual Effects  , going to  System > Preferences > Appearance
