Alterator

е. теперь это если верить статьям - файл /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-driver.conf (дистрибутив старого поколения /etc/X11/xorg.conf )
У меня сейчас на SL8 это файл файл /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-monitor.conf
# Generated by xsetup

Section "Monitor"
    Identifier "Monitor0"
EndSection

Section "Device"
    Identifier "Card0"
    Driver "nvidia"
EndSection

$ man xorg|sed -n '144,147p; 204,207p'
       -logverbose [n]
Sets  the  verbosity  level for information printed to the Xorg server log file.  If the n value isn't sup‐
plied, each occurrence of this option increments the log file verbosity level.  When the n  value  is  sup‐
plied, the log file verbosity level is set to that value.  The default log file verbosity level is 3.
       -verbose [n]
Sets the verbosity level for information printed on stderr.  If the n value isn't supplied, each occurrence
of this option increments the verbosity level.  When the n value is supplied, the verbosity level is set to
that value.  The default verbosity level is 0.
