How can I use Korean input Dubeolsik
« : 29.05.2014 11:48:40 »
Sorry I read by translator. I am new altlinux user - Centaurus p7 with MATE Netbook Samsung NT130 -

I want to use Korean input Dubeolsik. I installed ibushangul - terminal "ibus-setup" added input ibus . On other distributions I select the Korean Keyboard with the Korean color symbol (not the 101 compatible keyboard). I only get one keyboard layout now on altlinux and it doesn't work - logout reboot already. If anyone can help, I appreciate. Thank you

ibus-hangul is not packaged in ALT Linux. I'll package ibus-hangul.

Thanks for your report.

Please, use repo p7 for update and try to install ibus-hangul tomorrow (after 8:00 MSD):
apt-repo rm all
apt-repo add p7
apt-get update
apt-get install ibus-hangul

After install run ibus-setup and configure keyboard. I'd like to get your opinion.

I've started adding IM feature to mkimage-profiles (so that distributions could include it easily), a test image boots with "lang=ko_KR" and lets me type glyphs I don't even know after configuring the input methos and switching to it -- wish I knew what fonts would be better as there seem to be hinting issues at times...
