http://hplipopensource.com/node/325надо для начала в свойствах принтера на сервере печати выключить Fit to Page
For fullbleed (or edge to edge printing) to work the "Fit to Page" option MUST be turned off. You can turn off "fit to page" by running the HP Toolbox (hp-toolbox from terminal) then click the printer, click Printer Settings, click Image Printing and make sure that Fit to Page is "Off".

А при печати сделать
1 Select the printer to be used to print.
2 Click the "Properties" button.
3 On the General Tab, verify, Page Size and Orientation.
4 On the Margins Tab, verify, "Use custom margins" is checked. All margins set to 0.000.
5 On the Driver Settings Tab, verify, Page Size, and Resolution, Ink Type, Media Type. The latter option MUST be something like "1200 dpi, Photo, Full Bleed, Black + Color Cartr., Photo Paper"
6 Click Ok
7 Click the Image Settings Tab
8 Make sure "Fit image to page size" and "Center image on page" are checked.
9 Click Print.
Т.е. смотреть во вкладках свойств печати уже в программе из которой печатаете

Чтоб верна была ориентация и размер бумаги, все поля по 0 и свойство Media Type в свойствах драйвера типа 1200 dpi, Photo, Full Bleed, Black + Color Cartr., Photo Paper и не забывать включить Fit image to page size" and "Center image on page
У меня, как понимаете, принтер не фото, так-что картинки не совсем то что надо... но где-то так...
