Попробую темку поднять...
Появилась необходимость автоматом получать факсы, учитывая, что комп дома включен постоянно.
Почитал форум и пришел к выводу, что для модемов Dlink 562IS и Acorp на той же схеме ALT 4,1 не подходит.
Поставил Убунту 10,04, при установке дров пишет, что ядро не то, а для 10,04 дров нет.
Девайс в убунте вооще не определялся.
Поставил снова ALT 4.1? модеи нашелся и если верить KinfoCentr , то модем в системе есть.
как проверить правильность его подключения и работоспособность? (в инде модем работает нормально)
make install прошел и сказал запустить hsfconfig, bash вернул:
[root@localhost 1]# hsfconfig

lspci -k вернул:

02:03.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8139/8139C/8139C+ (rev 10)
как я понимаю ругается на версию ядра, но версии совпадают..
дрова не стали.
Вопрос что с этим делать дальше?
