Спасибо, заработало, появился интерфейс ath0.
Как теперь выключить его, лапочка на панели все время горит. Во время загрузки системы загораются две лампочки, wi-fi и bluetooth, как сделать чтоб они не загорались? Bluetooth отключается отдельной кнопкой, для вайфай тоже есть кнопка, но он не отключается.

Отключить через NetworkManager ?

В NeworkManager'е галочка "беспроводная сеть" отключена, ни одного беспроводного соединения не добавлено . В центре управление системы Состояние ath0: интерфейс включён, но что бы ни выбирал, ни нажимал ничего не меняется

У вас, наверное, соединение управляется через etcnet. Выберите NetworkManager (кнопка дополнительно в центре управления системы).

Возможно подсветка включается при загрузке модуля ядра.

В win xp все просто, загрузилась винда нажал кнопку включился bluetooth, нажал другую - wifi.
Можно ли так сделать, чтоб при загрузке linux не включались ни блютуз, ни вайфай?
Время работы ноута от батареи сокращается, а мне важно чтоб он работал дольше.
Может конфиг какой подправить?
В центре управления системой у ath0 так и висит состояние, интерфейс включен.

От root - выгрузите модули ядра, отвечающие за wifi и bluetooth, или вообще пропишите их в blacklist (но тогда придётся при не обходимости их руками загружать).

а вот тут пожалуйста поподробнее. Где и какие модули выгружать, как? Как прописать в blacklist?

Ну надо посмотреть lspcpci -v и узнать какие модули используются. Если карточки висят на usb, то может проще проанализировать lsmod и lsusb -v.

Выгрузить ath_pci (Wifi)
Для bluetooth -  rfcomm,l2cap

попробовал выгрузить модули командой
# /sbin/rmmod ath_pci l2cap rfcomm
индикатор wi-fi все равно горит, заносил в blacklist,
если не ошибаюсь это /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist ?
Перезагружал, все тоже самое.
