P9 SL not shutting down on desktop

Hello again dear community ,
last night I downloaded and put the p9 SL version on my desktop, I passed from the P8 distribution to P9, everything works normally, except when I go to shut him down, he didn't shut down , he didn't close  the pc,a black image appears with letters, and stop there.... how to shut down the pc???

The last message says the shutdown has been canceled. Does alt + F2 work? If yes, see:

Interesting, I was about to complain the same problem. 
In my case this happens on Lenovo ThinkPad T540p.
Initially I was suspecting that enabled Wi-Fi complicated the shutdown. Now when Wi-Fi is disabled in BIOS, I have to investigate logs indeed.

this is not supposed to happen to you,
but it must be some common driver fault, or it's not working right, The chipset from intel Ν470 doesn't work well at all from my netbook, I guess the same driver causes identical malfunction..however  this is one thing ....

this is other problem   with graphic 8400Μ GS theare i install RC2 SLP9 with kernel 8.991 few days ago -when login ,after login appear the window like photo if i change the  theme correctly ,but when restart pc it happens again.....i will try to install P9 stable ,maybe fix the problem   or not

i thing find the problem mr Aleksey-v  , The problem with me at least*,  is ACPI meaning Advanced Configuration and Power Interface , if you disable local acpi  ,I think your problem will be solved, too, but I do not know how safe they are for the stability of the system  ,I mean the stability of the system without that,in the course of time 
otherwise you just restart the pc , if this work and after close 
The final word is for the people who can fix it 

ΥΓ * no local acpi from me not  sow all cores from cpu but only one !!!
